  • HL not charging for drawdown might be a good enough reason for me to change from Fidelity.
    My intention is to start raiding my pot in the 18/19 tax year, take my 25% tax free and up to my annual allowance and not being charged to do this is an added bonus !!!128516;

    Thanks for pointing this out, I believe they have changed this recently so therefore it's just the cap that is different £45 vs £200 and the share dealing costs £10 vs £11.95. I also believe Fidelity has no transfer out fees if you change your mind whereas HL does.

    For me (us) the ongoing charges are key.

    For NorthernGeezer I don't believe he will be any better or worse off by remaining with Fidelity as opposed to HL (or vice versa). And he will not end up paying any actual real money for holding cash (no charge HL, and interest minus charges at Fidelity).
