Alternative to Google calender.

Options
I have been using the Google calender on my phone for a while but it keeps deleting events from it.
I use it for appointments and events/reminders but twice in the past 6 Months I've found that certain things have gone missing from my calender.
I like Google calender because it's easy to use and that I can attach items and see pictures for things that I've put in ie Dentist etc

Would anybody recommend another alternative calender that has the same sort of properties, please?

Thanks

Do you use an iPhone? The stock calendar has always worked quite well for me and has been really reliable.

Are you sure that things are going missing is not because you are deleting them on another linked calendar elsewhere or something?

I've never had anything in my google calendar go missing. Other than when I delete them on my computer and it pushes the update to my phone.

Thanks, but I'm not deleting things on a linked device.
All of my annual leave in August, holiday and flight details in June and other appointments throughout the year have disappeared.
I have looked online and it does seem to be a common problem.
I did like the layout if the Google calender but just want something more reliable.
    My Wife says I should use my filofax calender and write Al the dates down !!!128512;

    I do.

My main "Google mail. com" and a secondary " Gmail. com" account.

    I do.

why do you need 2 accounts?

Then its a different calender for each google account by default

Your calender entry stays there but maybe you are opening the other account and you cant see it??

bye the way gmail and google mail is the same

Thanks, I have had my Google account for years and my main email address is still Googlemail.com but I set up another Gmail account for all of the stuff that generates junk/spam ie competitions etc.

I have downloaded DigiCal and think it seems OK so will default to that as my calender.

    Thank you for your reply.
