Printing greetings cards within Adobe Illustrator

Hi guys,

I'm new to all of this so wanted to ask for advice; and what better place?!

I am trying to print greetings cards on ready made 5 x 7 pre-scored card from Adobe Illustrator.

I have set my work space to 10 x 7, so naturally, I'd hope that this would print perfectly from within Illustrator on my Epson XP 345.

Having tried to print the document, it seems reduced and doesn't even print in the correct place?

Have tried setting up Customer Size Page Setups and adjusting the settings on the printer, but nothing seems to work and beginning to lose the will to live!

You have print to page selected, that resizes the print to fit on the sheet with borders.

If you want the print 5x7 why have you made the page 10x7? Change to 5x7 also.

And set the portrait/landscape mode.

The problem is you can set it in Illustrator and the printer driver
can override it also.

Unless its 10 x 7 flat (folded to 5 x 7)

It is 10x7 flat and 5x7 folded.

I am selecting the 5x7 options in order to print but it’s not happening for me. I am also only able to print in portrait as the card is too wide to load landscape.
