Capital One Classic 0.5% cashback + £10/year

Hello,

Just a heads up for anyone who still has the Capital One card which pays the £10/year bonus for keeping to the T+Cs. The bonus wasn't credited for me in January but after a message was immediately credited "due to an issue in crediting the Annual Bounce (sic) of £10 on account is delay (sic)".

Not sure if this just effected me or others so double check. (I imagine a few of these accounts aren't used but kept open for the £10/year bonus).

    I'm bumping this thread. I can't believe it didn't get any replies!

    I seem to recall that I (along with everyone else) got a letter saying the £10 reward would be coming to an end and that the last payment would be in 2017. So when I didn't get a £10 reward in 2018, I didn't think anything of it - until January 2019 when I received it along with my usual percentage cashback.

    It surprised me so I had a look on here and found ricky_v's post. I messaged Capital One and although it took them over a month to sort it, they've credited me with the missing £10, blaming issues at their end.

    So it's definitely worth checking and then contacting them if the same thing has happened to you.

    I still hold this account because of the £10 year bonus and 0.5% cashback.

    I contacted them through Secure Messages on 5th February and contacted them again on 5th March when I didn't hear anything back. They replied on 7th March and credited my account with £10 the same day.
