Your partner is living with you in the house you are currently renting?

Is he entitled to contributory JSA?

The way I read this is that the OP has acquired a new partner and they both live in rented accommodation together. Then I note on the other thread that the OP is actually divorced from the previous partner who still lives in their jointly owned house and that she was not awarded anything from the house during the divorce proceedings.
I may be wrong and assuming too much but we will see.

He'll be able to claim contribution based JSA (if he has the right contributions) for six months. If he doesn't have the contributions, and after six months, then your income and savings will be taken into account. That includes the house you don't live in but half own.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

She says that she is divorced and that the financial settlement which she would have gone through and agreed with the court was that she got nothing. So based on that she owns nothing.
We really need to know what the actual terms were of the divorce settlement.
