Being an executor on benefits advice needed.

This is quite a simple process, but you must not put estate money in your personal account and should not pay estate debts out of your own account.
Paying estate debts from the executors own account isn't all that unusual. The executor of my cousin's estate did exactly that to ensure various people were paid promptly. She kept detailed records of all expenditure and got receipts for it all too. She claimed her outlay from the estate before the remainder was divided up.0 -
Was that executor on benefits?
Being on benefits complicates things as any money in an account in her name will be deemed to be hers and will affect her benefits.0
