why do you say that hammy - im in a similar position was never arrested but was fined by court by car tax running out (pleading guilty by post) also had to attend driver course when i had RTA (not arrested either time but was cautioned after RTA). I have nothing else of concern

not having car insurance is a civil offence, most other offences to do with motoring are civil offences. If you didn't pay the fine that would be a criminal offence and would be on your record, forget about it and just fill in the green form with no to everything.

At the end of the day how will they know. I knows it immoral but Britain do not share such details with any third party and that includes the USA. Despite what many conspiracy theorists might try and have you believe.
