i have been offered a new deal by my provder flow energy but on the comparsion site i can save by switching

when i accepted flow's new deal (the 2018 one) last year the document say there is no exit fee but this years document say my current deal (the 2018 one) has an exit fee and that they will switch me automatically to there 2019 deal

it is not due until 30th april sand i have not done this before so are they saying if i swtih away from flow now they will charge a fee though last years document said no exit fee?

should i wait until nearer the end of my contract

any advice very helpful

Under Ofgem regulations, suppliers are required to inform you in the period 49 to 42 days before the end of a contract that your contract is coming to an end. Once you have received this notification, you are free to switch suppliers without any exit fee penalty.

If your contract end date is the 30th April, then you have less than 42 days left on your contract so you are free to switch now.
