Tesco Computers for schools

Seems a bit mean to me that people are offering these vouchers for sale!

Yeah, hardly the idea of the vouchers is it!! I bet some mums/dads will buy them so their kiddies get to go to school all proud of the amount of vouchers they have - people should give them away - meanies!!

I work for Tesco and those vouchers are like cash! We have to be very careful that people don't steal them. They are locked in the safe with the cash!

Someone must be prepared to buy them if they are being sold on eBay. Its called supply and demand!....

Am collecting (post on discount vouchers board) if you have any spare please, or there are others on this board after them if you do.

Seriously, I can't believe people are selling these, you have to spend a fortune to get anything half way decent, and I'd rather people sent them in to their local schools even if they don't know if they're collecting them than sell them on ebay.
I suppose they're after a fast buck, but schools have a hard enough time relying on their PSFA to assist for extra's - your local school will take them for sure if you don't know where to send them.

In my opinion people who have them should put them into a collection box in their Tesco store. Then some sort of raffle should take place and they are either given to the winner, or given to all schools who are registered in the local area (divided equally)

    Just a thought...

They do this at my local Sainsbury's (bucket on the C.S desk stating vouchers will be divided between local schools). The Tesco store not 500 metres away doesn't have this so either everyone with kids shops at Tesco's and takes them or because its the busier of the 2 stores by far they haven't got time and assume you'll pass them on to a neighbour/friend etc. Why they can't with the profit they make say that they'll donate software to each school each year and a lucky school out of a hat gets a pc I don't know.......

The Tesco I work for gave over £50,000(I think) to charity last year alone! We do lots and lots of fundraising for charity each year! If people are that bothered about giving money to charity they should do it themselves!
