    It's definitely ideas we are after rather than freebies ! We want to futureproof and "smart" our house as much as possible but don't really know what to "google" to find out what would work best together.

    H&R Show should be ideal here - excuse the pun! The Show is basically stuffed full of sales stands so there will be those that interest and those that do not. There will also be lectures - check out the programme but future proofing/smart homes is a typical lecture topic.
