I have a PDF document downloaded from a Website but only a small part of the text in the document displays when opened with Acrobat Reader.
The main title page and text appear ok but on all the subsequent pages, whilst the paragraph numbering appears, the body of text does not display, just a blank space where it should be. Photos are displayed ok.
But if I print the file to another PDF file the missing text displays correctly but everything is in black and white.
I think it is my set up rather than the file itself, because others can open the original file and display it normally.
Whilst I have solved the problem of how to read what's in the file I am still intrigued as to what is wrong with my set up. Might it be something to do with the fonts ie the text is in a font I don't have loaded. These are the fonts listed in file properties:
https://ibb.co/c2YSFH
I did not appear to have ArialMT or Muli loaded but after adding those fonts the file is still blank. I have MS Win 10 with all the latest updates.
This is what displays when I view the file:
https://ibb.co/kZqraH
Since I have found a work around its not important, I am just puzzled that's all.
