Gas Card Top Up Failure

Hi all,
Today I topped up my British Gas pay as you go card as normal in the post office, but when I got home and inserted it into the meter it showed a balance of £0.00, I checked the reciept and found nothing out of the ordinary.
I can't call British Gas till 8am tomorrow, has anyone experienced this before or knows what will likely happen?
Thank you
Robert

The system knows if you have been credited with £10 as the terminal in the shop connects to BG. Also the meter knows what amount of credit the card had on it/if any when it was inserted. Its all traceable and verifiable.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

It can take up to 3 days for the supplier to receive your payments. I would suggest checking your meter and writing down what shows on screens 00 last credit, 01,02 and 03 today before you top up again. Have this info to hand when you call BG. This will show the last top up applied to your meter and what happened to it. They will then be able to refund your payment when it is received if it has not gone on your meter.Self Employed, Running my Dream Jobs0
