Disabled Car Insurance??!

Newbie here!
Need some help on car insurance please.
I understand that your job title can have an affect on your premium.
I’m now medically retired and registed disabled but I am a qualified mortgage advisor. In the past this has reduced my insurance from when I was ‘just’ an office administer.
So, technically I will never be a qualified but I’m not actually working anymore.
How does this sit with the insurance companies? Do they want the here and now situation or can I legitimately put broker?
Oh and no, I wouldn’t use the car for work.
Thanks
P.

Retired I believe, I think the question is "Current Job".0

If your retired and not working and in receipt of a pension then your retired.
If your on benefits then it may not be so clear cut, you maybe unemployed in that case.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

There isn't a thing as a "disabled register or registered as disabled".
You can be disabled if your have a physical or mental condition. Therefore you can select "retired ill health" or "disabled" or "not in employment due to disability" if non of these are selectable call the insurer and give them the quote ref and complete over the phone.0 -
Being in receipt of disability-related benefits does not automatically disbar you from working. Many disabled people do work - and it's a good thing that they can do.
I'm presuming your disabilities don't make you eligible for the enhanced mobility component of PIP, else you'd probably be far better off going for Motability than providing and insuring your own car.0
