Thought you all might appreciate a thread on these that is genuine.
For my DD's next drama production in which she's just part of a group singing a few songs, we've been asked to get black jazz shoes or similar for them to wear too. Last time I bought DD jazz shoes (a few years back) they cost a whacking £28. I've no idea where they currently are or if they'd still fit.
I'd rather not fork out that much again. It's a class she is likely to be dropping in a few months to concentrate on her gcses.
She has wide feet so looking for a cheaper version on-line is difficult as really she needs to try on.
Any ideas for getting a cheaper pair anywhere or what to go for as an alternative?

Shoe zone? Primark? Or are you actually looking for dance shoes?0

Have you got a Decathlon store near you? They stock cheap dance clothing and shoes.

Will have to be dance shoes or similar, so they look the same sort of style as the others.
Decathalon looks very reasonable. Don't think I have a nearby store though. About to go to work, but will look into that further on my return - thanks.0 -
Having looked up what jazz shoes are i;d say try Primark.0

Capezio have some canvas jazz shoes in the sale, £4.50 + postage.
Or there are some cheap ones on Ebay, search for canvas jazz shoes, they're always cheaper than leather and will do just fine.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
I can vouch for Decalthlon's for a short performance time frame.
Both of my kids have these for Gang Show every couple of years and they last the rehearsal and performance period fairly unscathed.Kate short for Bob.

Brantano and Deichmann are also places it may be worth looking, if you have branches nearby.Signature removed for peace of mind0

We have a Deichmann. Brantano closed down a few years back.
Anyone know if the shoes are wide if I go for one of the online options?0
