You can't, I'm not sure why you think that would/should be possible.
You can use mobile credit to make purchases in the Google Play Store if you set your payment method to mobile billing, but that's all.0 -

I think you phrased your question wrongly. You cannot add your PAYG credit to your Google Pay balance, The answer you received was to your question which is about adding to your Google Play wallet. NB They're different.0
