My memory is like a sieve and I often forget important details as soon as I've finished a call.
Any recommendations for an Android call recorder that starts automatically on every call? I'd also like it to save to my phone rather than the cloud. There are so many to choose from in the Play Store I'm totally baffled by which one to try and some of the permissions they ask for are a bit intrusive.

Thanks for the link Ballyblack. One of them seems to need rooting for my particular phone and the other seems to have a lot of recent one star reviews. Still none the wiser!0

I use Easy Voice Recorder, works with most Android versions.0

My phone is a Moto G4 with Android 7.0.
Some of the reviews on the Play Store say the sound quality is poor so it needs to have good sound too.0 -
It cannot record sound in a better quality than the hardware that provides the sound feed.
Some phones can record from the internal hardware, but sone are blocked from doing that. The only option of those is for teh mic to record the call which reduces the quality.
All my Samsung phones have recorded from the internal hardware, had no issues with the quality. But not all devices can do that.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
