Great offer. Mine came with a free SIM, no credit on it but if you register the number on the Virgin website they will credit the number with £2 calltime within 24 hours. So you could look at the deal as costing £3. I needed a new battery anyway and I may just sell the hands-free on eBay!

Nokias are the easiest phones to unlock, according to a mate of mine who runs a phone shop. He has unlocked phones for me before from Virgin network without any trouble...

Can you check with him if it is possible to unlock this Nokia 2310 from Virgin??

Because as per a few comments here, its unlockable

T-mobile are now doing the Nokia 2310 for 14.99. You get ten pounds Quidco as well. At least the Quidco is a bit clearer than with Virgin!!

Just tried my phone but I am getting a "contact service" message on my phone! Have emailed Virgin Mobile to find out what's going on but doesn't that message mean that it is barred or summat? Has anyone else got this message on their Nokia 2310?
