    Clearscore uses Equifax data.

    For now, at least.

Of course they know about your mortgage. Your mortgage company gives Equifax (and the other Credit Reference Agencies) the details. A mortgage is a loan. A loan secured on property, but a loan nonetheless.

Excuse me what I had been used to until today with mortgage eligibility checkers was me being asked who is your current mtg provider, how much are your payments, what is your home valued at.
My thread was because of the surprise that ClearScore had pre filled those questions inlcuding answers without me entering any data.
Thanks mser's guess I'll probably see more of these pre filled checkers in future.

It might be your computer pre filling the information and not Clearscore. Try using a different device that you have not used before to see if it is really Clearscore pre filling the data.

Alternatively use a different browser. Browsers have settings to remember form data, and you can clear that or turn it off from the settings. When you log into websites etc, does it already know your username and prefill that in?

I have an iPad not an iPad Pro so I am not sure if it comparable. However, my iPad saves form setting on the iCloud Keychain and this appears to available to more than one browser.

To achieve a conclusive result, entering the data on a Windows laptop may be a better option.
