We have a 32"Panasonic TV and in common with most other flat screen TV's - the sound is poor
We are looking at Sound bars - but what do we buy ?
They go from £30 to £500+
We are looking at the bottom end - not being sound experts - just looking for more volume without distortion - what should we pay and what is recommended ?
It would appear that most have bluetooth but what is the TV connection and does it make a noticeable difference ?
We have Sky.

You ask what the TV connection is,then dont tell us what TV you have....

Low end are usually 3.5mm jack or line in.
    further up the range optical/HDMI.
THe bluetooth feature is for other devices to connect, not for the TV

We run a Kitsound upstage wall mounted in the bedroom

Does a nice job with good connection options. Got it direct from Kitsound on Ebay.

In the livingroom we run a speaker stand

Long since discontinued but still come up 2nd hand. Nice understanted unit with plenty of ooomph.

That tells us absolutly nothing about what connections your TV has.

You are joking (I hope) - this is a Russian piece of kit made from old Lada and Moskvitch parts - that will more than likely switch itself on and wake us up in the middle of the night and then poison our minds with Russian propaganda !!!

Well that depends on the sound bar you have.
If your tv has a headphone socket,it can utilise that.
    If it has optivcal,then that.
If it has HDMI then that.
My own soundbar has all 3 options plus RCA.
