Camellia advice pretty please

I have several - the previous occupiers clearly liked them a lot, and the soil is fairly acidic. Huge one (pink, williamsii donation) in a shady spot right by the house, and then the others are shorter (six/eight foot) sheltered from the early sun but are out in the main borders so put it where it will work for you, both now and at its future height. They do respond well to pruning too if you end up having to cut it back in a few years. Mine are the same variety but flower at different times which I assume is to due with the location of each one.
Noticed my big one has started flowering this morning - it looks amazing when its covered in lovely pink flowers'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
In our last place the cat from next door used to come every morning and collect the pink flowers, taking them back to her garden and stockpiling them on the patio table. It was the strangest thing. Dang I miss that cat.0

It would be best to plant it with ericaceous soil. They are also not so keen on full sun so maybe rethink the location and pick one with a bit of shade. Any time of year will be ok so long as you can keep it watered. Autumn is usually the best time for planting
Here is a blog post that I wrote if it helps
