Does anybody know how to remove the battery cover on this 10 year old audio book player ???
I cannot get the battery cover off as it appears to be screwed / fastened from the inside.
Cannot find anything on Google or Youtube.
TIA

Place the Victor Reader Stratus in front of you on a table or flat surface. Turn the player upside-down so you have the underside of the device facing you. Position the player so that the carry handle is facing away from you. The battery is near the carry handle opening with there are two sliding tabs with three tactile ridges. The battery is next to these two sliding tabs. To open the battery cover, simultaneously push the two sliding tabs away from each other using your thumbs. The battery cover should pop up, allowing you to remove the battery, by pulling it up and away by putting your finger in the semi-circular recess between the two tabs.0
