Create 10 accounts from the same IP or 10 newly created accounts register and complain the system knows something fishy has gone on.
Is it hateful and abusive or the truth that someone dislikes?
Your original post, just says it discredits someone. Thats easily done without being abusive or hateful.
I could say my local plumbers an idiot and about as useful as a leaky washer. He doesnt have a right to stop me saying that, especially so if its true.
If you use his name, address and pictures or videos of him without his permission then that is breach of data protection act isn't it?Nothing has been fixed since 2008, it was just pushed into the future0 -
Can I go to the police if somebody uses my personal data and is hateful and offensive?
Or shall I go to somebody else first?
The data protection act is a serious business?Nothing has been fixed since 2008, it was just pushed into the future0 -
Is this video about you or a member of your direct family?0

Thanks I keep reporting as hateful and abusive.
But it’s still there.
You do realise that YouTube is a global concern, and that they will have reports like this coming in worldwide, citing copyright infringement, hate speech, pornographic content, etc, etc
You're clearly in a queue, waiting to be looked at0 -
The data protection act is a serious business?
The DPA is UK legislation. Again, YT is a worldwide concern.
Have you reported it specifically as a Privacy Violation?

Have you actually viewed YouTube, I mean really viewed? There are thousands of videos that discredit people/companies for a myriad of reasons.
If you know the poster, then first line of defence is to 'politely' ask them to remove the offending video.
Second, which you have done, report the video.
If these have no effect, then you can get a solicitor to send a letter asking for take down or legal action will follow.
If that doesn't work, take the legal action.
Best way to deal with it IMO, is to ignore it totally and move on.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

Are there any other organisations I can contact?
Yes a solicitor maybe the best option.Nothing has been fixed since 2008, it was just pushed into the future0 -
Despite your numerous posts in the thread you still haven't explained why you are attempting to do this rather than telling the person in question about the video so that they can report it themselves.0

If somebody shows personal address in a video that is trying to discredit somebody surely that is illegal?
No.
But without any information then, its hard to give 100% accurate answer.
But i could post a video saying in my opinion AG47 on this site is a busy body nosey parker and should be avoided if you venture down X street especially number 13abc.
Your information is publicly available all over the place, is this person a business who is using your information? If not then the DPA probably wont apply.
Similar way you know my username on here and i believe you have seen my car on the street and i demand you forget it and erase it from your memory.
If its that bad report it to the police as a crime, if its not a crime then start legal action against them, but be sure your going to win.
Without info as to why they posted this info, then who knows? Are you a business and they were a customer?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Legal action is useually enough, you don't need to be sure you going to win, the threat is enough to get somebody to stopNothing has been fixed since 2008, it was just pushed into the future0
