Well have had a fairly productive day today, finished cleaning dining room floor and half hour later dd2 got playdough all over it!:rolleyes: Have managed to do a bit of sorting in my bedroom too and have got another box full to list on ebay. Filled a couple of binbags and have been to the tip to get rid of them plus about 4 boxes and all my recycling. Am about to package up my ebay sales from the weekend and that's me done i think. Feel like I'm getting a bloomin cold now!:cool: I am determined the house Is going to be clutter free for christmas!

Hello busy lot, I'm just about to make a start on today's list. I've been home for a while but sat reading today's goings on. Too much to remember but congratulations Mermaid! Had a cuppa and some phone calls but I've not even unpacked the shopping or eaten yet so I'm going to do no more than half an hour on this list..back at 8.15 to do some striking.


Marvellous Monday - Kitchen
Level One
Clean floors
Find a roll of binbags we are having a BIG FLING this week because my house is a mess!!
Level Two
Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or grots in there!

Level Three
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Clean oven if you didn't do it last week
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
Check those washing machine filters and drawers for ickiness!!
Extra Mission
Choose one or more of:

• Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
• Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
• Update the inventory of your cupboards contents and what needs using first
• Attack that hotspot of grot in the kitchen.. the one you look at, groan and decide to leave until next week.. but it's been there for years!!

Hi everyone

quick post - been at work all day and came home and very little done here so refused to get kids any tea. DS managed to make himself a pasta salad and DD made herself a fruit salad, hows that for kids own choices! Me I had a bowl of frosties :eek: . Managed to turf DD off computer so I could have a quick catch up and now off to start todays list. Going to set myself an hour and see how much I can do

OK, so I returned from work ridiculously tired but I am going to make a huge effort to get through this list! - OH has just cooked a gorgeous stew with leftover beef from the roast - am going to have the rest for lunchtime tomorrow. No dining room (open plan and builders are in tomorrow so I am exempt!!)

Wipe the cupboards out before replacing what you can keep.. then find out when the next crap boot sale is and see if you can get some cheap replacements should you need them!!

Evening folks. Just caught up on the thread but am so tired I forgot who said what so hugs and hellos.

Met DH for lunch who was then home all afternoon but hes gone to bed with a migraine so have tv and laptop all to myself:D Going to go and have a nice hot bath soon. Have started making over a side table for the top spare bedroom so have so far got it sanded down, 2 coats of paint so tomorrow need to strip it back it places and crackle glaze it. Going very girly in there and doing a 'Cath Kidston' theme.

[/STRIKE] ( I did my cooker hood you should have seen it it was gross :eek: i used bicarb and water and the grime came off like magic :j )
