Mature student finance with student children?

I've read everything I can find about this, but thought I'd double check in case I'm missing something. As a mature student with children also at uni, the student finance available to me would be based on household income with no allowance for the contribution we are expected to make towards our children's finances? If I'm understanding correctly we can't claim student children as adult dependants.
Would the money I receive from student finance count towards the household income for calculating what my child can claim?

No, as it is not your taxable income.
