Need advice on self employment issue

Hi,

I share a premises with two others on a self employed basis. We are equal in the fact that we all paid the same amount to open and split the rent/bills equally.

Unfortunately there have been some major disagreements and it's getting to the point where it's untolerable.

My question is if the two others decided they didn't want me there anymore are they within their rights to do so or can I stand my ground and refuse to leave?

(We've had countless meetings but nothing changes and I'm not in a position to love my business at the moment)

Thanks in advance for anyone who can help.

Yes we signed a contract but I don't think we covered this scenario unfortunately.

Basically both have been been talking quite vindictively about me behind my back, blatantly poaching my business, hygiene practises aren't followed to the point it will affect us all.
I have proof of the conversations they've had, proof of poaching and photographic evidence of poor hygiene.

However they side with each other and deny everything regardless of proof.

I have a strong suspicion they will tell me they don't want me there so need to know if, legally, they can do that.

If they are poaching your business and you don!!!8217;t get on then why would you want to stay there? It sounds like it!!!8217;s in your own interests to move.

Unfortunately it's not as simple as just being able to move premises. Although I am actively looking for something more suitable until I do I'm stuck there so need to know my rights if both decide they want me out.

Please look at the contract so that you "know" rather than "think" whether it covers such a situation. That is the contract which the three of you signed. Did you get a lawyer to prepare the document?

If you are renting, what does the lease say about responsibility for the rent? Is it that you are each jointly and severally responsible for the whole?

We are each jointly responsible for the rent and we're all named on the tenancy agreement.

So what business is it that you have set up together but separately, that allows for customers to be 'poached'?

It's actually quite important in terms of shared areas etc

It is a salon but we are three individual businesses.
I have documented proof of workplace bullying, client poaching and cleanliness/hygiene issues from one of the other partners.

I've spoken to both of them directly however they side with each other and I'm basically told what I can and can't to.

Yes I am aware that I've allowed it, that I should grow a pair of balls and/or remove myself from the situation but this is a business I've spent four years building (I asked both people to join me in this venture as we had worked together previously) and due to health issues (that have been ridiculed and held against me) I've not exactly been in a position to address it until now.

I have no clue where else to get advice on this :(
