Number for hsbc

Does anyone have a direct number for hsbc PPI complaints? I can only find the 0345 404 404 one & they're not very helpful.
I received a letter from hsbc upholding my complaint dated 10 January. I took completed payment form into branch with my marriage certificate as have got married since my loan and they sent the docs to the PPI dept in their internal post. On 19 Feb I received a call saying i need to go back to branch to complete a change of name form with my old and new signature on which I did that day.
I still haven't received payment it's so frustrating and no one on the above tel number seems able to find out what's going on!

    19th February is a only a few weeks back, so you'll be waiting a while yet.

    Back in 2012, I rang HSBC's "Service Quality Team" on 0800 881 155. If that's still their number, they should be able to tell you that your form is logged and (roughly) when you can expect payment.
