You would take the title of the thread as it shows on main board and copy and paste that to the daily thread.
If it was this thread you would copy and paste from the index: Linking to dailies to wherever you wanted it to go.
Not sure what thread you are referring to as it is a invalid link, it looks like Mse has took that down.

hi, I open two pages,
split them down on to half screen each,
one with the main board comp link on & other one
with daily regs
ie:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=72
find the comp (in this case)
E: 05/04 Nintendo Switch & Looney Tunes prizes
paste/copy the title as above,
open the page for regs & click on
Daily Competition Thread
then paste on end of the thread in post reply,
