Just a quick question. I am looking to buy a budget printer that does not need expensive inks. Any ideas, please?

I can't see a duplicate, but if you let me know I will merge them.
There are no simple answers to cheap printing. However the options recommended by MSEers in the past include:-
- Cartridge refills & remanufacture
- HP Instant Ink
- Monochrome laser printers
... depending on your specific printing volumes and requirements.0 -
I'm from the "hate printers" but "want reliability" and "don't print alot" camp.
We're with HP's instant ink; e.g. £2/month for upto 50pages and qaulity ink through the door

And a cheap printer? £29 https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B075DTHV7H/If you put your general location in your Profile, somebody here may be able to come and help you.0
