Make money trade plating (delivering cars)

For the last three and a half years I have been delivering cars all over Britain. This is seriously flexible work and available for anyone who is mostly able-bodied and in possession of a driving license which doesn't even have to be clean. It's good work, it's a la carte and you can leave and come back to it as much as you want. If you are a mature student or anyone else with another life that wants income to fit around lifestyle, this work is really useful.

It is my article and there is some colourful language within, for which I make no apology. Despite its satire, it is objective and it's a good signpost article and I'm quite happy to help anyone who emails me on this subject. So Manchester to London is about 200 miles. At 0.22p = £44 at 0.34p = £68.

Not so good if you get stuck in traffic and the drive takes 5 hours.

I've always wondered: if you pick up hitch-hikers with trade plates, can you ask them to take over the driving?

I did this as an employee for a large Vauxhall dealership in the east midlands.

It's ideal for students because you could work when it suited you. Most dealers will hire students over the summer holidays as it is still one of the busiest times of the year for them.
