After sending an email I'm able to move the copy in the Sent folder to another folder when using Thunderbird/IMAP by simply dragging and dropping it.
I can't work out how to do this when using the web based portal (when away from home and using a hotel computer for example). I can't drag and drop from Sent to another folder or work out how to do this. Doh!
Any advice welcome.

Click on the email then click (in the headers) the 4th box along. If you hover over it, it says Move to. You can then move email to inbox, or several other options.

This only gives me the option to move to the Inbox (hovering over this 4th box gives no other options).
The next 5th box along gives me the option to 'label' it with the desired folder but not actually move it from the Sent file to the desired folder.
Am I doing something wrong?0 -
You dont actually have folders in gmail - you have labels
Move it to the inbox and then label it0 -

Gmail labels = IMAP folders.
Once it's in the Inbox and you've applied another label, select Archive which removes it from the Inbox.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
