Fault on Ebay App - Duplicate buying

Not seen anything about this but I don't always pay attention.
I just placed an order via the app and had a message that said "Sorry! Buying temporarily unavailable - Please try again". So I did and received the same message.
I then switched to the laptop where I had two outstanding items awaiting payment.
I've taken a screenshot and contacted the buyer to cancel so no problems on any of that, just wanted to let anyone know not to try again if you get the same message.
