Morning fellowlanghaulers...hope everyone is well...I've now finished christmas completely and it's all wrapped!!!...so proud of myself...not looking forward to it as myself and DH are working 12 hour shifts each every day for a fortnight over christmas and new year but the money will be fab...
Bought myself trousers and a top yesterday for the party only £33 so a bargain but was only meant to be buying trousers...oh well...
Have a good day all..take care xx0 -

Hi all,
I've only just joined the 'Long-Haulers' group - should have done it ages ago!
I'm actually looking forward to getting my finances sorted and feel positive about it (rather than the usual feeling sick!!)
Now starting to think about what I spend rather than just getting the cards out. (and have made Plum Jam & Cranberry Sauce for people's Xmas presents this morning - I think that's going to save me about £30!!)So many debts....:embarasse ________Total Paid off so far: £240Overdraft: £2700________Wardrobe Loan: £900______CC1(V): £9800 (0% APR) _______CC2(T): [strike]£3851 [/strike] £3731 (15.76% APR)______DFW Long-Haul # 71 _______Weight loss Challenge: 04/70lbs0 -

KITA is a kick in the *ss.
Gemmzie considered yourself booted. Gets boring sometimes though doesnt it. All around you everyone is throwing cash about willy nilly and you are being thrifty. Yawn !! BUT last year I owed a fortune after Christmas and this year it will only be a couple of hundred instead of about a grand. It's got to be good. I am not paying much extra off of things this month I'm afraid. Paid £20 from Barclaycard that I got from various places. I have a bit in the bank but amn scared to touch it just incase i need it. I will be well chuffed though if I get to end of the month and I can use it. DS's birthday next week and we are having a day out on Sunday so that will cost a fair wee bit. I will take a packed lunch with us though so that should save some money. Keep on rocking long haulers xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000 -
Thanks Taxi73 - I hope they like them, and I don't poison them....that would be a false saving....
