Has anyone used booking.com for booking hotel rooms?

Were they OK?

    I booked an apartment in Amsterdam with them in January. No problems whatsoever.

    I've also used them many times without any problems (including cancelling bookings without paying any penalty).

    Thanks for that - have booked with them - hope there's no problems as I tried to book the same hotel through another company and with the hotel direct and they both didn't have availability - yet I have a confirmation from booking.com!?!?!
