Unused integrated dishwasher-use it for storage?

I'm about to move into a house with an integrated dishwasher. There's only me and i know for a fact that I won't use it - I quite like washing up! I'm thinking of storing my crocks in it though-just wondered if this will work or if it will be 'damp'. I've never had a dishwasher so clueless. Any other ideas about what to do with it much appreciated. Thanks.

we do our washing up by hand, allowing it to drain most of the water off the plates etc, then put it in the dish washer to be out of sight as the last of the water drops/drys off them
then every so often we run it as a dish washer to clean up & refresh the inside0 -
Closed unused dishwashers tend to smell, although I suppose this may stop after a time.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

I have a friend who keeps her pans in hers with no problems.0

Won't be a problem a bit odd though haha. You could always stick it on once a month to clean it and dry0
