Barclays Additions packaged account charges

Hello,
I'm new to the forum and hoping to get a bit of advice.
A good few years ago I had an overdraft on my current account. I went over the limit and was contacted by barclays telling me if I signed up for the additions account they would extend my overdraft. This led me to believe that in order to keep my overdraft at the new level I needed to keep the additions account.
Would this be classed as being mis-sold?
