Everyone is politely asked to read up on this in the Newbies FAQ thread near the top of the forum before starting a new thread

Go there now to learn about the game you are now caught up in and how to deal with it

Throughout here you are advised never to reveal who was driving.

You need to edit your post to remove details of who was driving

The ppcs monitor this forum and can use your posts against you

Did you not have time to read any threads? Maybe trying to use this forum on a phone?

There are loads of threads like yours - NO-ONE in their right mind pays these fake PCN 'scams'.

We are NOT telling you to ignore this, unless you are in Scotland or NI, or unless the ticket is from a firm that's not a BPA or IPC member. B&Q is probably UKPC or a similar bunch of chancers.

Do what the NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST thread tells you to do. Please don't type asking for a link ''because I don't know where the NEWBIES thread is''...!

Look at my signature, the words below tell EVERYONE where the NEWBIES thread is, 2 clicks back. Only view the forum on a PC or laptop, and turn off your Smart Punctuation.

    :)
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    UKPC are fraudsters, read this

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3229165/Is-PROOF-private-parking-firms-scamming-motorists-Drivers-say-timings-photos-doctored-legally-parked-cars-issued-fines.html

This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for alleged breaches of contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.

Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and another company have already been named and shamed, as has Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each year). They nearly always lose, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P.

Hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned.

The problem has become so rampant that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Watch the video of the Second Reading in the HofC recently.

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind most of these companies may well be put out of business by Christmas.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
