MSE News: Childcare Vouchers scheme to be extended

As long as you are signed back up to take a voucher for September yes.
You decided how much you want to pay your carer, if you have £1000 and want to pay them then that's absolutely fine.
It doesn't matter whether they opt back in September or not, they will still qualify as long as they have had a voucher provided in the 52 tax weeks ending on the October end date.

With all the changes that are happening to the childcare vouchers I just wanted to send a quick message to say we offer a tax free nursery scheme provided by Employers that is not affected by the childcare vouchers. It is unlimited so does not have the capped monthly amounts of £243 or £125. A parent's full nursery fees can be covered by the scheme as long as the salary sacrificed amount does not take the parent's wage below National Minimum Wage. The scheme is government regulated and was initiated in 2003. The savings can be vast, for example a tax free saving on an annual nursery fee of £9,600 can save up to £4,400 for a 40% tax payer.0
