Howdy !
It is getting more frequent that on a daily basis , my Wi-fi drops out and I have to reconnect . I checked on the Speedtest app over the last 2 days .. download 10.9 mbps / upload 0.94 m b ps.
I’m With Vodafone .
Any ideas?

It could be interference with other wireless networks. See what channels are being used in you location and set your router to use a less congested one.0
-
Use a smart phone app for checking any nearby wifi routers and change the channel accordingly.0

Thanks for the swift replies:)
I did change the channel from auto when I spoke to a Vodafone tech last week. Will do so again, and report back if I get continuous service good or bad .0 -
Just to note there is only 3 channels that don't interfere with each other on 2.4 so you should be on 1,6 or 110

You don't need a smart phone use windows built in commands start a command prompt(or powershell) as administrator then enternetsh wlan show networks mode=bssid
Shows all networks in range Alsonetsh wlan show wlanreport
this creates a file C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\WlanReport\wlan-report-latest.html which you can open with your browser of choice4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . Wow! Thanks for that
I've just put it on my home screen to digest when I'm ready:rotfl:0 -

No -- you should choose channels based on the least congested. If channels 3 is heavily used while others are vacant, then it would be much better to choose channel 8 than channel 6 because of the overlapping bandwidths.0 -
So, I was awake in the early hours of the morning . Same fault
I then went into the Wi-fi settings . Changed to channel 4 , and 44.
I did try other numbers but 'bad gateway' stopped me doing so.
I just visited the page this morning and I was asked for my router password instead of the password I normally use. I haven't it to hand and know it is on the router . I decided to leave it for now, as everything is working for now and I don't want to be on my hands and knees with a magnifying glass so early in the morning .0
