Lost Blue Badge
Hi,
Can you just apply and pay the fee for a new blue badge submitting the relevant docs when you lose your blue badge? rather than going to the police station and convincing them that you really did lose it as the dvla want a reference number for them!
Anyone been down this road?
Thanks.

What has the DVLA got to do with it, it's your issuing local council that will require either a crime reference no. if stolen or a lost property reference no, both from the police. I wouldn't imagine it'll take much "convincing" to get a reference no., just ring them up and ask for one.
Have you tried just taking your documents over directly to your county council office or at least following the instructions on their website?0 -
