What to expect from Lidl 3 year warranty

And this is what Lidl are trying to do in this case as the failed product is over a year old but, of course, well within the 3 year warranty period - and I’ve got dates proof of purchase.

Therefore what exactly is the Lidl 3 year warranty for then?

    Any answers gratefully accepted. Thanks.
Not sure what you're asking - the 3 year warranty is to cover you in the event of goods failing; which it has.
It's reasonable to deduct an amount for use of the product, which is what they're doing. You can't just expect over a year's use for free.

Some retailers will grant a full refund, but this is a goodwill gesture ONLY. Legally they can reduce the refund to cover use you've had.
