Wesleyan

Wondering if anyone has anything further to say about Wesleyan Bank since someone else posed the question last December. I'm considering their one-year fixed rate account. There are no consumer reviews about them when you Google, so I think they're pretty obscure.

    Don't know much about them but the MSE best savings rate page lists them

  • I've got a cash ISA with them, the rate has gone a bit rubbish recently actually, but it used to be competitive.

    They specialise in providing financial services to lawyers, teachers and medical professionals so their marketing is targeted at them which is why you don't see much about them in the general media.

    Thanks guys, they look pretty good from what I can find out about them, and quite ethical in their own small way. Their also a very old institution. They answered the phone quickly and were very good when I rang them up yesterday, so I will be going ahead !!!9786;

    I've been trying to edit and then remove the post two above due to typos for the last 15 minutes but it won't let me do it. Any guidance?

    try:
    * Press Edit
    * Press "Go Advanced"
    * Selected "Delete" near the top of the page that opens
  • Their 1yr fixed rate is now 1.76% although on the Saving rate on this site it is still showing 1.86%.
    Was just thinking about opening but think I'll stick with topping up my Atom for now.
