Monthly landline and broadband contract

I am looking to have only a monthly contract with B/B and L/L with such as Now TV, I only want it as spend time away from home and a contract with such as Sky can work out expensive as it is generally for a year so pay for months spent away. I want to know if the months that I don't pay monthly subscription what happens to the landline and broadband as it is still in the home and assume active.

As far as I am aware there are no monthly contracts available for broadband and landline. All the providers have much longer minimum terms.

If you are often away, I suggest you access the internet on your mobile phone and take it with you when you travel. If you don't have a mobile, then get one. You could even use PayAsYouGo.

It would definitely be impossible to have a landline in the circumstances you desire.

You could do it with a mobile, like has been said. Three offer unlimited data, with I think it is 12gb tethering. so you can connect. If you also get a chromecast or similar you can play nowtv on your phone and cast it to your tv. a bit long winded but it's doable.
