need a good light weight internet gadget for my walking holiday

i am planning to walk the whole of the south west coastal path next summer (as long as it is better than this one !!!)

would like to have internet access (for path news and tide news etc) so i need something that is light but also have a good size hard drive as i plan to load my memory map programme on to it as well

dont want to spend a fortune so hopefully somebody can help

I'm hope to do the same. Can't help you with your question I'm afraid, but have one to ask! How long do you reckon it'll take you? I hope to do it at a leisurely pace (around 10 - 12 miles a day) over two months - June and September.

looking at about the same time scale but might stay a while if i find anywhere really nice so 2 months walking and maybe 2 months relaxing !!!
