Getting WD to install firewall but keep McAfee

I've kept the expired McAfee that came bundled with the laptop because it still very occasionally warns me of dangerous sites. However, it now seems to have withdrawn its firewall but won't let Windows Defender use its own version. How can I get WD to install it and still keep McAfee?

Get rid of mcafee totally use windows defender only

Kaspersky (free) and Bitdefender (free) have good URL checkers. Not sure how good Windows Defender is on its own (although Edge + Defender are a solid combination).

Excellent - is that with Avira Safe Search Plus extension?

no extras by any other company have been installed , just the basic stuff that comes with win 10

since ditching IE , I find this settup safe even when visiting "naughty" websites .

I find most after market settups are not needed

So is WD's, but the screenprint is implying McAfee's firewall was overriding any other.

WD is Microsoft is more than adeqaute for your needs + using other suggested URL checkers

I think you've put the wrong URL there as it just leads to McAfee Consumer Support.
I don't have Chrome on my machine due to the amount of data that it steals.
