our terriers will not walk on leads, they come into town walking beside me, they have been terrors since they were small !15 years old now and will still chase cats/ hedgehogs anything that moves, i have tried training them but its in bred and they are hard to train, make wonderful pets will defend you to the death and your children and remember although only small are not lapdogs, were bred to work and enjoy long walks and have boundless energy, special dogs who choose their owners....

too true terrierlady the only time we have cuddles is when their really tired and they are soo cute then but otherwise little hyper machines raring to go.my little jack does not leave my side when off lead and in the park but goes on the lead along the pavements as i cant trust her if she sees a cat so better to be safe than sorry as for being hard work they are but i also love them to bits so they are worth the trouble.
