Insurance for Waitomo Caves New Zealand

My daughter is going to New Zealand for 2 weeks as part of her university course and has tagged on an extra week. The university is providing travel insurance for the whole 3 weeks. However she is doing the
Black Labyrinth black rafting tour at Waitomo Caves and I'm wondering if she will need extra insurance for this? It does look like it would be regarded as a specilist activity. Does anyone have any recommendation for an insurance company that would cover this at a resonable cost?

I don't really know how we can comment as we don't know what the university insurance covers. Have you asked them?0

Sorry it's just a standard insurance, doesn't cover extreme sports. I've tried looking myself but most insurance companies don't list black water rafting. Just thought I would ask on the off chance that anyone had experience of booking insurance for this type of activity.0

Have you tried Googeling Black Water Insurance ,might be a start. There are a lot of companies who do cover this, check the prices and do not always go with the cheapest.0 -
