Seriously? Others have been extremely helpful and that's all I needed. I was not the one who was rude, simply said there was no need to be sharp with me, no I didn't understand which template to use after reading the newbies forum, so I wanted to clarify, these forums are here to help so I really don't see your problem.0

Dear Sir/Madam,
Re PCN number:
I am the keeper of the vehicle which received this purported 'parking charge'. There will be no admissions as to who was driving and no assumptions can be drawn. I am not liable and I believe that your signs fail the test of 'large lettering' and prominence, as established in ParkingEye Ltd v Beavis. Your unremarkable and obscure signs are in small print and the onerous terms are not readable.
Should you fail to cancel this PCN immediately, I require the following information with your template rejection:
1. Does your charge represent damages for breach of contract? Answer yes or no.
2. Please provide dated photos of the signs that you say were on site, which you contend formed a contract.
3. Please provide all photographs taken of this vehicle.
I am alarmed by your contact and I do not give you consent to process any data relating to me, or this vehicle. I deny liability and will not respond to debt collectors.[STRIKE] You must consider this letter a Section 10 Notice under the DPA, and should you fail to respond accordingly, your company will be reported to the Information Commissioner.[/STRIKE]
I have kept proof of submission of this appeal and will also be making a formal complaint to your client landowner.
[STRIKE]If you are a current BPA member, send me a POPLA code. If you are an IPC firm, cease and desist with all contact.[/STRIKE]
Yours faithfully,
had you bothered to check , instead of wanting your hand holding , you would have found that CP Plus are BPA members, asking or threatening section 10 is useless
do NOT ask for a POPLa code , they are obliged to issue one (without being asked) if they deny your appeal

Can we all agree to reset, start again and lets get another victory over the scammers....:j0 -
Thank you to everyone helping, I may sound thick to most of you but I have never done this before so I have literally no idea on how to appeal. Also I don't want to ask anymore stupid questions but at the start of my appeal it is making me select one of two options:
1. You are the driver and the PCN you have received contains the correct information
2. You are not the driver and the PCN you have received contains incorrect information
I know in the newbies forum it says not to name yourself as the driver but I have to pick one before I can appeal0 -
Clearly you must choose option 2 to avoid stating that you are the driver.0

but I have never done this before
Nor have any of the OPs here, pretty much to a man/woman. EVERYONE is in the same boat, you are not more needy than the next person.
Just read a few threads, and you will find almost all posters are like you - but most do not regurgitate the sticky thread and ask for what's in it to be said again.
The sticky thread is there for people like you. Read it, use the info. Calm down!
We really cannot spend time repeating it. Come back at POPLA stage but AFTER reading the sticky.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
