Advice please!! - on which paint to choose

Painted my wooden bed a few years ago with Annie Sloan chalk paint - probably 3 coats and then gave it a few coats of wax - per instructions from shop.
It now looks a mess as every time it is hit it marks so easily.
Wanting to repaint - what should I choose that would be more durable?
I think most of the wax now off with wear and cleaning etc.
