Wrong card given for refund

Basically, I have brought in some goods for a refund to Boots about 10 minutes later after I have bought them.

The problem is that by mistaek I gacve them a different card for a refund instead of the one I have purchased with.

Anyone knows what will happen now and if I will get my momey back?

Something that I have done on a few occasions. A couple of times done it deliberately to keep a large quantity of points.

It will appear on the statement of the card you used as a credit. From boots point of view they should have checked the last few digits of the card to confirm it was correct.

You will get your refund. You should have the receipt to prove the refund. You will have the debit on one card and the credit on the other.

Some retailer's aren't bothered which card you use for refund.........Screwfix for one

Do you use the card that the refund has gone to, and does it currently have a balance on it? if so the refund will just be treated as a payment. If it has a zero balance then I'd suggest that you check the card until the refund appears, then either ask the card issuer to send you the funds or simply spend on that card until you've used up the credit.

It is very unlikely that you will have a problem and the refund will simply appear on the card that you provided for the refund transaction.
