I haven’t been able to get walnut and maple syrup ice cream for 20 years. 😢
It’s gone out of fashion. Everything’s got chocolate bits in it these days. Or cookies. Or marshmallows. 😢 Or weird chemical things.

This our basic recipe is cream, milk, homemade vanilla sugar. The ice cream nation website has lots of information on making ice cream (no surprises there) including recipes for different styles.
@Fortune_Smiles thank you for sharing an alternative method. As a family, I would like to try different methods of ice cream making so we can compare and contrast.
